In the first of small joint arthroscopic surgeries in INHS Kalyani, a team of Orthopaedic surgeons did arthroscopic micro drilling of a cartilage defect in Ankle (Talus) on a 35 year old serving personnel who sustained this trauma after an ankle sprain. In this disabling condition, micro drilling helps in increasing vascularity and bringing bone marrow which helps in healing of the defect.
