Vice Admiral K Swaminathan VCNS on his visit to SNC called on Vice Admiral V Srinivas FOCINC SNC on 19 July 2024. He was briefed on progress of various projects, operational and training activities of the Command at HQSNC. In another event, he addressed Agniveers and exhorted them to strive for excellence. On 20 July 2024, VCNS visited ship repair and building facilities at CSL and was briefed on various indigenisation initiatives. Onboard INS Vikrant, he reviewed the operational activities undertaken by the ship. He also visited Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory, Kochi and witnessed Defence RandD in scientific and other domains.
