A team of 18 Indian Navy personnel from WNC embarked on a Mountaineering Expedition to Kang Yatse I (6400 m) and II (6250 m) in Ladakh on 30 August 2024. Despite inclement weather and harsh conditions, 12 members summited the peaks on 12 and 15 September 2024, within 72 hrs. During the three-week expedition, Lieutenant Commander Prakhar Gour successfully summited Mt Nun (7135 m) in addition to Mt Kang Yatse I and II.
