A workshop on the Annual Performance Appraisal Report APAR for Naval Civilians was organised on 17 December 2024 at HQSNC, Kochi, by Naval Headquarters. The event began with a welcome address by Commodore Viju Samuel, CSO (P&A), and a keynote address by Commodore Saurabh Agrawal, Commodore (Civilian Personnel), highlighting key initiatives of NHQ DCP as part of Year of Naval Civilians. The workshop, led by Shri T Hussain, CAO, and Smt Babanpreet Kaur, AO-I, covered APAR and SPARROW, focusing on transparency, fairness, and efficiency in performance appraisals. Attended by 150 participants from various units pan Navy, Workshop aimed to foster professional growth and organisational excellence. Commodore Agrawal called on Rear Admiral Upal Kundu, COS, and Rear Admiral Subir Mukherjee, ASY Kochi, OiC HITU and GM NAD Alwaye. These engagements reaffirm the Navy’s commitment to empowering its civilian workforce in Indian Navy.
