A workshop on organ donation was hosted by INHS Sanjivani on 22 December 2024. Dr Noble Gracious SS, Executive Director of Kerala State Organ and Tissue Transplantation, Dr Easwer HV, HoD, Dept of Neurosurgery, SCTIMST, Dr Nita George, Senior consultant intensivist, Lakeshore hospital and Dr Mathew Jacob, Senior consultant Multiorgan transplant, Aster Medcity delivered talks on brain stem death, organ donor maintenance and organ retrieval techniques. The workshop also included talks on legal and psychological aspects of organ donation. The medical workshop conducted in hybrid mode was attended by medical and nursing officers of SNC including outstation units. Surgeon Rear Admiral Rajat Shukla, Command Medical Officer CMO SNC, was the Chief Guest for the workshop.
