As NWWA celebrates its 39th Diwas, we go beyond festivities to embrace a deeper purpose—sustainability, community welfare, and environmental responsibility. This year, our focus is not just on reflecting on past achievements but on shaping a future where nature and progress thrive together.

In keeping with this vision, Mrs. Shashi Tripathi, President NWWA, has pledged to place the environment at the heart of all NWWA initiatives. As a step towards this commitment, a Tree Plantation Drive was conducted in Dholi Kholi Dham Godhan, a village in Khijarpur, Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. The number of saplings planted holds great significance— 77 — a tribute to the year 1948, when NOWA was founded, symbolizing our deep-rooted values and continuous growth. This initiative was supported by the Forest Department and Civil Administration, Bhiwadi which included Ms Jyestha Maitri, SP, Mr Atul Prakash, CEO BIDA and Mr Rajendra Hudda, DFO. Each sapling represents more than just a tree—it is a pledge to nurture the earth, a step toward a sustainable tomorrow, and a testament to NWWA’s unwavering dedication to community engagement. As these trees take root and flourish, they will stand as a living symbol of our responsibility to future generations. Change does not wait. It begins when we take the first step. This NWWA Diwas is not just a celebration—it is a commitment to action, impact, and a lasting legacy. Let this be our message to the world: the future is green, and it starts with us.
