Cmde Ben Aldous, Commander, UK Maritime Component Command, along with Col Simon Westlake, Resident DA UK, called on Rear Admiral Vidhyadhar Harke, CSO (Ops) WNC, on 27 March 2025 and discussed issues of mutual concern in the maritime domain. The visit marks a significant step towards strengthening relationship between Royal Navy and Indian Navy, as well as India’s involvement in multinational forces, such as CMF. In a solemn wreath-laying ceremony at Gaurav Stambh, the Cmde paid tribute to the brave personnel who made the supreme sacrifice in the service of the nation.
