On the occasion of Teachers Day 2025, teachers and schools administered by WNC were felicitated by Vice Admiral Krishna Swaminathan FOCINC West for their stellar role in fostering academic excellence and responsible citizenship in the younger generation.
NCS Mumbai was awarded the FOCINC WEST rolling trophy for Best Performing School in WNC for 2024-25. NCS Karwar was adjudged runners up.
In his address, FOCINC (W) thanked the educators for their selfless service and efforts at promoting academic excellence, ethical conduct and critical thinking among the future leaders of the nation.
He urged the administrators and Principals of schools to pursue infrastructure enhancements that are at par with global standards, promote professional enhancement training for teachers and include latest teaching techniques that could collectively equip students at naval schools with the tools necessary to navigate the challenges of today and be future ready.
