INS Abhay and INFACT-82 were decommissioned at sunset on 06 October 2025 during a poignant ceremony at the Naval Dockyard, Mumbai after three decades years of glorious service respectively in Indian Navy.
Vice Admiral Krishna Swaminathan FOCINC WNC was the Chief Guest at the event. Senior dignitaries, commissioning crew and former Commanding Officers graced the occasion. INS Abhay and INFAC T82 were paid off under the command of Commander Abhay Kumar Singh and Lieutenant Commander Adishesh Mishra respectively.
