Lieutenant Commander Aditya Mahan successfully participated in the 211 KM High 5 Hell race in June 2025 across the Himalayas. The officer was the 2nd fastest Naval person to do so with a timing of 26 hrs 38 mins 04 seconds. The race covered a distance of 211 km crossing 05 mountain passes along the formidable Manali-Leh highway at an average altitude if 15843 ft and highest mountain pass being Tanglang La at 17500 ft negotiating rarefied air, steep gradients with freezing subzero temperature ranging from -2 deg C to -5 deg C. This achievement not only reflects personal dedication and endurance but also upholds the ethos and sporting spirit of Indian Navy.
