Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, CNS inaugurated the new Western Naval Command Officers Mess Tower, named Sumeru, on 22 November 2025 in presence of Vice Admiral Krishna Swaminathan FOCINC WNC and other senior serving and veteran dignitaries.
Sumeru is a 22-storey landmark featuring over 200 officer quarters with modern amenities including a dining hall, reception area, conference room and galley. The facility is equipped with high-speed lifts, SCADA-based energy and water management systems, advanced fire-safety measures and a GRIHA 3-Star rating.
