Vice Admiral Krishna Swaminathan FOCINC WNC interacted with media personnel at the Annual Navy Day Press Conference held at Sumeru Tower WNC Officers’ Mess in Mumbai on 02 December 2025. In his opening remarks FOCINC provided the media an overview of activities and initiatives of the Command over the last year. He brought out that the maritime resurgence of India is deeply intertwined with the seas and described the pivotal role played by Indian Navy in safeguarding India's maritime interests both from traditional and non-traditional threats.
During a free-flowing Q&A session, he spoke about regional maritime security challenges and reaffirmed the commitment of the Command to foster a combat-ready, cohesive and Atmanirbhar - anytime, anywhere, anyhow.
