Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, CNS, interacted with the Indian Defence Accounts Service probationers of the 2024 Batch at South Block, New Delhi, on 19 December 2025. CNS highlighted Indian Navy’s role in promoting and protecting national maritime interests and underscored the Defence Accounts Department's vital responsibility in strengthening India's defence preparedness through efficient financial management and accounting for Indian Armed Forces and other organisations under the MoD. Emphasising professionalism, integrity, and synergy, CNS shared valuable insights into the expectations from IDAS officers as leaders, providing proactive, solution-oriented guidance to their, teams in keeping with the rich history of the Department.
