Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi CNS embarked units of the Eastern Naval Command PoorviBeda at Sea on 08 January 2026. During the embarkation, CNS witnessed operational drills in a multi-threat environment, fleet maneuvers, weapon firings, flying operations, and was briefed on the operational preparedness of platforms and personnel. Addressing personnel, CNS commended units of Eastern Naval Command for their sustained high operational tempo and focus on maintaining battle-ready platforms, precision in ordnance delivery, and mission effectiveness. CNS underscored the pivotal role of well-trained and motivated human capital, the men and women in whites towards optimally employing modern weapons, sensors, and uncrewed systems within a fully networked operational environment. CNS reaffirmed that such preparedness and professionalism remain central to the Indian Navy’s mandate to safeguard India’s national maritime interests — anytime, anywhere, anyhow.
