On the occasion of 10th Defence Forces Veterans Day on 14 January 2026, floral wreaths were laid by Lieutenant General DS Kushwah GOC MG & G Area, Vice Admiral Rahul Vilas Gokhale COS, WNC Wadodkar AOC MAO and Rear Admiral Shantanu Jha FOMA at a solemn ceremony at the Gaurav Stambh in Naval Dockyard Mumbai. Floral wreaths were also laid by Defence Forces Veterans.
A Tri-Service Ceremonial Guard was paraded during the event which was conducted to pay tribute to the valour, courage, dedication and sacrifices of numerous bravehearts in the line of duty, underscoring the finest traditions of the Indian Armed Forces.
