Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, CNS visited the National Cadet Corps Republic Day Camp 2026 and reviewed an impressive Parade and band performance at Cariappa Parade Ground, New Delhi on 19 January 2026. During the walk around, NCC cadets briefed CNS on the rich culture, history and diversity of the various States and Union Territories on display in the Flag Area. Speaking on the occasion, CNS lauded the cadets for their discipline, service ethos and vital contributions to national initiative and nation-building, calling them a true reflection of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat. CNS reaffirmed Indian Navy’s enduring association with the NCC in nurturing disciplined, confident future leaders of our great nation. Referring to the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister that India’s youth are a force for global good, CNS highlighted NCC’s growing focus on issues technology, digitalsystems, drones, space and cyber domains, alongside character and leadership building. Drawing on over five decades in uniform, CNS shared life lessons, including self-discipline, continuous learning, courage, teamwork and the resolve to never give up.
CNS reminded cadets that family and financial background do not define one’s destiny; attitude does and encouraged NCC cadets to carry forward a neversaydie attitude with the grounded values of humility, discipline and service to the nation as future leaders of a confident, capable and ViksitBharat2047.
