Vice Admiral Sameer Saxena FOCINC, SNC presented the Mashaal Badge to Roshan Khan, Leading Seaman (UC), the winner of the Indian Navy Essay Competition for Sailors 2025.
This initiative was introduced to encourage purposeful reading and writing amongst sailors.
In recognition, a unique 'Mashaal’ badge is worn on the uniform by the winner for a year.
