Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, CNS, attended the Finals of the West Zone Inter-University Women Football Tournament 2025-26 at Awadhesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa, as the Chief Guest, on 13 February 2026.
The tournament witnessed participation from 52 universities across Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, and Rajasthan, bringing together more than 5000 students fostering the spirit of unity through sports – kheloindia The thrilling Final Match on 13 February, marked the successful conclusion of days of spirited competition, energy, sporting excellence, and camaraderie.Addressing the players, CNS highlighted how sports build discipline, teamwork, decision making and leadership qualities essential for personal growth, and for shaping a confident, capable India.He commended all the footballers for choosing a sport that demands strength, stamina, and determination - hallmarks of India’s Nari Shakti.
CNS also encouraged the sportspersons and spectators to pursue excellence on and off the field, embodying the spirit of fair play and resilience, crucial for the young architects of Viksit Bharat 2047.
