Industry Synergy Conclave was conducted under the aegis of HQWNC at Naval Dockyard Mumbai on 06 March 2026. The conclave provided a forum for interaction between senior Naval Officers and Industry Captains.Conducted in association with Bombay Chamber, the conclave reaffirmed the shared commitment towards advancing India’s maritime capability under the Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India initiatives. Ongoing indigenisation efforts of the Indian Navy and areas for collaboration in defence technology and innovation were deliberated upon during the conclave which also saw attendance by representatives from Government agencies.

Addressing the gathering, Vice Admiral Krishna Swaminathan FOCINC, WNC outlined Indian Navy’s post-independence growth and requirement to balance indigenisation versus imports. Citing volatile geopolitics, he urged industry leaders to build capacity and adopt emerging tech to achieve complete self-reliance.The interaction concluded with an insightful tour of guided missile destroyer INS Imphal and submarine INS Vela highlighting maritime shipbuilding capabilities.
