INS Shivaji, the Alma Mater of Marine Engineers marked a historic milestone with the Passing Out Parade of the 100th Marine Engineering Specialisation Course on 27 December 2025. A total of 31 officers, including trainees from Friendly Foreign Nations, successfully completed 105 weeks of intensive and rigorous training, emerging professionally equipped to meet future operational challenges.
The parade was reviewed by Vice Admiral Sameer Saxena Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief Southern Naval Command who also presented awards to officers for outstanding performance during the course. The centennial passing out of MESC underscores the Indian Navy’s continued pursuit of professional excellence, technological mastery and leadership development in marine engineering.
