The 39th Annual Conference of the Marine Medicine Society, themed ‘The Future of Maritime Healthcare: Innovation and Solution,’ was inaugurated by Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, CNS, at INHS Asvini on 14 September 2024. Dignitaries including VAdm Sanjay J Singh, FOCINC WNC and Surg VAdm Arti Sarin, DGMS (Navy), attended the opening ceremony of the event.
The conference highlights critical areas in naval medicine, such as submarine, diving, and hyperbaric medicine, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among medical professionals. Officers from the Indian Armed Forces Medical Services and over 450 delegates, including participants from friendly foreign navies attending in person and online.
