As part of the ongoing visit to UAE, Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi CNS visited the Joint Forces Command of French Forces in UAE ALINDIEN. CNS was received by Rear Admiral Hugues Lainé, Commander of the French Forces stationed in COMFORFFEAU, the Indian Ocean Maritime Zone ALINDIEN, with a Ceremonial Guard of Honour on 23 October 2024. CNS was given an overview of the French Forces Command and Security Situation in Indian Ocean Region IOR. Growing bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two navies and measures to enhance interoperability for focused Maritime Security in IOR were discussed
