Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi during his maiden visit to Western Naval Command interacted with the personnel of WNC and expressed deep pride at the high tempo of ops, and the assertive and affirmative actions of the WNC platforms in Arabian Sea towards ensuring Maritime Security in the region and safety of the seafarers. CNS underscored the primary mission of the Navy - to safeguard the national maritime interests "Anywhere Anytime Anyhow". He also reiterated that the Personnel manning the Ships, Submarines and Aircraft are the topmost priority of NHQ. Recognising the pivotal role of the Defence Civilians in ensuring the sustained availability of Naval assets, CNS highlighted the various initiatives implemented to improve service conditions, facilities, quality of life and satisfaction levels. Speaking on the strengths and effectiveness of the time-tested Divisional system, CNS urged all personnel to leverage the newest channels for outreach, communication and and to stay informed through the array of Digital initiatives. CNS stressed on the significance of knowing “Why we are doing, What we are doing” which would ensure efforts in the right direction to achieve the desired lines of effort. Driving home the primacy of ensuring ‘Safety and Security’ both at the individual as well as organisational level, CNS reiterated the need to be Combat Ready Credible Cohesive and Future Ready force – all the time, every time.
