During his ongoing visit to Myanmar Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, CNS addressed the staff officers and trainee officers from various units at the Naval Training Command of the Myanmar Navy on 05 May 2026, giving an overview of the “Emerging Challenges and the Future of Warfare in the Maritime Domain.”Speaking on the shared maritime challenges in the Bay of Bengal region, CNS impressed on the need for enhanced Navy-to-Navy cooperation and collaboration between Indian Navy and Myanmar Navy under GoI vision of MAHASAGAR.
CNS also shared "Leadership Lessons for Young Officers", drawn from over four decades of naval experience, to enable junior and mid-level officers to anticipate challenges, adapt to change, and overcome complex situations in an unpredictable world. He highlighted “clarity of mind” and “strength of purpose” as key to leadership in a complex world, emphasising continuous learning and people-centric leadership - while noting that technology enables progress, but the men and women in uniform drive true transformation.
