Book Release | Indian Military History
Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, CNS, released the book ‘Forged by the Sea: The Indian Navy Story’ at the New Delhi World Book Fair 2026, Bharat Mandapam, on 16 January 2026.
The book authored by Commander Kalesh Mohanan, Lieutenant Commander Anupama Thapliyal, Lieutenant Jeevitesh Saharan of the Naval History Division traces India’s naval evolution from ancient seas to today’s formidable naval force, naval operations over the years and stories of valour. The book aims to showcase Indian Navy’s proud legacy and promote maritime consciousness amongst the youth and citizens of our nation.
