Commodore Saurabh Agrawal, Commodore (CP)-II and Shri VS Tripathi, CAO from NHQ/ DCP delivered a lecture on "Administration of Naval Civilian Personnel" to 31st Naval Staff and Technical Management Course NSTMC - 31 at NWC, Goa on 04 July 2024. For the first time, two Naval Civilian officers are attending the course. The lecture aimed to equip student officers with enhanced roles in managing Civilian Workforce of Indian Navy, providing them with knowledge of CCS Rules and various administrative procedures. The officers also called on Rear Admiral Arjun Dev Nair, Commandant NWC Goa and updated him on latest initiatives being undertaken at NHQ/ DCP. The opportunity was also utilised to interact with Naval Civilian personnel at Station Mandovi to apprise them of various initiatives being taken as part of Year of Naval Civilians. Multiple issues were raised and resolved during this fruitful interaction, demonstrating Indian Navy's strong commitment to addressing concerns.
