225 student officers of the 81st Staff Course at DSSC, Wellington and 90 officers of the 8th DSTSC at MILIT, Pune visited Eastern Naval Command for an Industrial and Demonstration Tour.
The visit provided a comprehensive overview of naval operations and the roles & responsibilities of an operational command of Indian Navy. Officers interacted with Vice Admiral Susheel Menon, Chief of Staff, ENC and attended an interactive presentation by the Command Plans Officer.This was followed by a detailed briefing on ‘Regional Geopolitics and the Indian Navy’s Strategy’ by Chief Staff Officer (Operations), at HQENC.They also visited frontline units at Visakhapatnam, including Eastern Fleet ships and a submarine, gaining first-hand insight into India’s maritime capabilities.
