A delegation led by H.E Mr. David van Weel, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands interacted with Vice Admiral Krishna Swaminathan FOCINC WNC in Mumbai on 17 December 2025. Discussions centred on topics of mutual interest and strengthening cooperation between maritime forces of the two countries.
This was followed by a tour of INS Imphal, an indigenously designed and constructed guided missile destroyer of Indian Navy. The visit reflects the mutual commitment of both nations to enhance cooperation and collaboration in the maritime domain, contributing to peace, security and stability across the Indo-Pacific region.
