Governing Council Meeting GCM and Annual General Meeting AGM of Veteran Sailors' Forum VSF was conducted at Kochi, SNC on 05 September 2024. The meeting was chaired by Vice Admiral Vineet McCarty, Controller of Personnel Services CPS and attended by over 350 Naval veteran sailors and their families. Various issues pertaining to pension, healthcare and welfare including information on SPARSH and ECHS were shared during the event. Presentations covering activities of INBA, NAVPEN and other organisations in last one year were highlighted to the audience. Further, various initiatives and future plans of Indian Navy with regard to Veterans were also shared. Helpdesks set up by ECHS, NAVPEN, banks and INCS provided way ahead on issues faced by veterans. The event concluded with interaction of senior Naval dignitaries with the veterans.
