Indian Navy’s Sail Training Ship INS Sudarshini embarks on a flagship voyage, Lokayan 2026 on 20 January 2026, a 10-month long global sailing expedition covering 22,000 NM across 13 countries and 18 ports. Showcasing India’s seafaring legacy, the ship will participate in Escale à Sète (France) and SAIL250 (New York). Over 200 Indian Navy & India Coastguard trainees will gain hands-on sail training, strengthening maritime partnerships and India’s global maritime connect.
