Introspection 2026 was conducted by Indian Navy at Hyderabad on 24 March 2026 under the aegis of Rear Admiral Rupak Barua, Director General of Naval Armament Inspection.Vice Admiral Sanjay Vatsayan, VCNS, the Chief Guest inaugurated the “Defence Manufacturers’ Exhibition”, showcasing indigenously developed armament systems, testing equipment, quality assurance technologies and manufacturing capabilities by various DPSUs and private industries.
The workshop brought together stakeholders from Indian Navy, DPSUs and private defence industries to foster collaboration and synergy. Theme of the workshop “QA as a Strategic Enabler for Combat Preparedness,” highlighted the critical role of quality assurance in enhancing operational readiness and promoting.During the event, Introspection–2026 Compendium containing technical papers on contemporary Quality Assurance practices, life assessment methodologies and modernisation initiatives was released.
