Day 1 of the Joint Services Multi-Speciality Camp at Lakshadweep saw an overwhelming response from the Island community. Consultations were held across basic specialties including Dental Surgery and super-specialties such as Cardiology Endocrinology nephrology Neurology and Gastroenterology. 725 patients benefitted. 18 general surgical procedures and 44 cataract surgeries were performed, while 60 USG scans, largely for antenatal cases, were conducted.
The initiative underscores Indian Navy’s commitment to community welfare and civil-military cooperation.
