Upgraded Indian Navy Online Examination System INOES 2+ launched by the Chief of Personnel COP on 05 September 2024. New version hosts features for digital resolution of disputed questions, Slot Password module and infographic dashboards facilitating Any Time Any Centre exams within Exam window. INOES 2+ aims to enhance flexibility and transparency in conduct of exams especially for personnel onboard afloat units. Synergising the momentum of transition of exams in line with DigitalIndia Initiative, Indian Navy has migrated Officers’ Professional Management Exams (PME) to online mode. 58 multi-disciplinary papers for all branches/cadres of officers were conducted at six Missions abroad, 26 mission deployed afloat units and 33 ashore centres. PME evaluates Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) of officers on maritime knowledge and professional acumen. Qualifying the exam is mandatory for promotion to the rank of Commander and Command of Op units.
