A maiden Synergy Conference on Finance and Accounts was held in WNC Mumbai on 23 February 2026. The inaugural address was delivered by Vice Admiral Krishna Swaminathan FOCINC, WNC.
The conference was attended by Vice Admiral Rahul Vilas Gokhale COS, WNC, Vice Admiral Ankur Sharma DGNP(MBI), Mr. Dhananjay Kumar, PrIFA (Navy) CGDA, Mr Harsh Vaidya, PCDA (Navy) and Commodore BK Munjal (Retd), Defence Advisor (GeM), along with senior officers from WNC and the Defence Accounts Department. Key issues related to Gem India and challenges in procurement processes, payment and audit matters were deliberated to facilitate fiscal and procedural prudence towards enhancing op efficiency. The forum resolved to remain adaptive and agile in meeting emerging challenges, with due regard to established processes.
