Indian Navy Meteorological and Oceanological Symposium Meghayan 2026, was conducted on 30 April 2026 at INS Hansa in Goa under the aegis of HQWNC, to mark World Meteorological Day.Inaugurated by Vice Admiral Krishna Swaminathan FOCINC WNC in virtual mode, the symposium focused on aviation weather forecasting with particular focus on naval aviation and featured insightful technical sessions on aviation nowcasting, bridging the last tactical mile, and leveraging AI for decision superiority.
