Maiden Naval Trials and Acceptance Authority - Warship Overseeing Team (NATAA - WOT) Conclave, was conducted on 25 March 2026 at Western Naval Command.
The conclave was co-chaired by Rear Admiral Sanjay Adhana and Rear Admiral Sujit Baxi, DG WDB (through VC) and was attended by delegates from Warship Design Bureau, Production Directorates at NHQ, Trial Teams and Warship Overseeing Teams across the Indian Navy.The conclave aims to enhance synergy between Trial Units under NATAA and Warship Overseeing Teams (WOTs) towards ensuring delivery of combat ready platforms with quality and in time.
Discussions during the conclave included a wide range of topics related to workmanship, design issues, rationalisation of inspection & trial processes and streamlining of procedures for acceptance trials of new construction ships.Deliberations during the conclave remained focussed upon initiating measures in pursuance of Indian Navy’s vision of a ‘Combat Ready, Credible, Cohesive and Future Ready Force Safeguarding National Maritime Interests – Anytime, Anywhere’.
