Opening Ceremony, under the aegis of Eastern Naval Command, held on board INS kavaratti, the indigenous Anti-Submarine Warfare Corvette, at Visakhapatnam on 14 October 2025. Hosted by Fleet Operations Officer, Eastern Fleet and was attended by senior naval officers & naval personnel from Indian Navy & the Indonesian Navy. The head of delegation from Indonesian Navy included First Admiral and Commanding Officer of KRI John Lie. Both countries highlighted shared cultural links & importance of Ex Samudra Shakti in enhancing mutual cooperation ensuring stability & peace in the region.
