Mrs. Sandhya Pendharkar, President of NWWA(ER), visited the venerated Mother House of the Missionaries of Charity, the home and office of Mother Teresa in Kolkata, on 10 May 24. She was accompanied by Mrs. Hima Kumar, President of NWWA (Kolkata), and ladies of the station.
Amidst the serene surroundings, the ladies paid homage at the Mother's tomb and visited her humble living room, reflecting on her profound impact on the most downtrodden of society.
The team also had an interaction with the Secretary General, who highlighted Mother Teresa's life and contributions to society, and also briefed the group on the charity work that the organization is undertaking. To support their mission of helping the needy, NWWA(ER) donated dry provisions to the organization.
