Royal Navy of Oman Ship Al Seeb visited Kochi from 06–09 October 2025. The ship was accorded a warm reception with fanfare by the Southern Naval Command Band. Courtesy call was paid by Indian Naval officers, on arrival of the ship. Lt Cdr Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Salim Al Saidi, Commanding Officer, Al Seeb, called on Commodore Sarvpreet Singh, Chief Staff Officer (Operations), HQSNC.
Earlier, RNOV Al Seeb participated in a PASSEX with INS Tushil on the Western Seaboard. The visit underscores deep-rooted maritime cooperation and bilateral defence ties between the two nations based on robust strategic partnership.
