Surgeon Rear Admiral Ajit Gopinath has taken over as Additional Director General Medical Services (Navy). Prior to this, he was Command Medical Officer, Eastern Naval Command. A seasoned medical administrator he has served as Staff Officer (Medical) at CABS, Director AFMS (CRD) at O/o DGAFMS, JDMS (Personnel) & Commodore (MS-Health Services) at Naval HQ. An alumnus of AFMC PUNE, TISS Mumbai and CDM Secunderabad, he has commanded INSH Patanjali and INHS Sanjivani.
