To acknowledge the noble service rendered by teachers and to celebrate their passion, persistence and patience, an interaction between teachers and Vice Admiral Rajesh Pendharkar, FOCINC, Eastern Naval Command was organised as a part of Teachers Day Celebration at HQENC. On this occasion ENC trophies for Best in academics in Class X and XII were awarded to Sainik School Korukonda and NCS Vizag. In addition, Certificate of Recognition was handed over to Mrs Malti Devi, PRT who was awarded the Outstanding Teacher Award by Naval Education Society. Speaking on the occasion, the flag officer emphasised that teaching is not just about educating but nurturing and encouraging noble profession which helps the students to become better individuals as they grow up in society.
