A training visit of 27 IPS trainee officers from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy, Hyderabad was conducted at SNC on 06 July 2024. During their visit, the trainees received a comprehensive tour of the Naval Base and its facilities. They were briefed at the Joint Operations Centre (JOC) on the Indian Navy's maritime and coastal security framework. A brief overview of harbour security and role of Sagar Prahari Bal was also presented to the trainees. Further, they visited INS Shardul and were apprised on the operational role and capabilities of the ship. The visit aims to enhance interaction and understanding between the law enforcement agencies and Indian Navy, fostering a spirit of mutual cooperation in the realm of national security.
