A training visit was conducted by the ENC for 26 Probationary IPS Trainee Officers, from Sardar Vallabhbha Patel National Police Academy, Hyderabad. During the visit, the trainee officers received a comprehensive briefing on the Indian Navy maritime and coastal security framework, along with an overview of the roles and responsibilities of various stakeholders. This was followed by an interactive session, a visit to the JOC (East), and a harbour familiarisation sortie onboard a Fast Interceptor Craft.
This initiative, coordinated by Naval Officer-in-Charge (Andhra Pradesh) aims to enhance understanding and cooperation between law enforcement agencies and the Indian Navy in safeguarding maritime and coastal interests.
