US Navy Ship USS Canberra was on a goodwill visit to Kochi from 07 - 08 May 25. Commander Bill Golden, the Commanding Officer called on Cmde Sritanu Guru, Cmde (Training), Southern Naval Command and discussed issues of maritime interest. Cross deck visits were conducted between IndianNavy & US Navy personnel enhancing mutual understanding, collaboration and camaraderie. The extant visit of US ship strengthens bilateral defence ties b/n India and USA.
