Vice Admiral Ajay Kochhar, (Commander-in-Chief, Andaman and Nicobar Command), on his maiden visit to New Delhi, called on Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, CNS on 07 October 2025. He was accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honour at the South Block Lawns.
CINCAN apprised the CNS on the operational readiness and engagements of (Andaman and Nicobar Command), as well as the ongoing administrative, infrastructural, and capability enhancement initiatives in the strategically important ANC.
Discussions also covered key security challenges, maritime domain awareness and plans to augment the overall presence of the Indian Navy in the region to protect and promote India’s maritime interests- Anytime Anywhere Anyhow.
