Vice Admiral Rajesh Pendharkar, FOCINC, ENC, inaugurated the state-of-the-art cold/cool room facility, named Kalpataru at Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam on 28 June 2024.Kalpataru, a 24x7 Seafarers' Sustenance facility, is the first of its kind in the Indian Navy. It will enable the Base Victualling Yard, Vizag to meet the victual requirements of ships and submarines expeditiously at all times, including during silent hours and holidays.
