Vice Admiral V Srinivas, FOCINC, SNC visited Sainik School, Amaravathinagar and presided over the 128th Local Board of Administration (LBA) meeting on 28 June 2024. Various improvements towards efficient functioning and development of the school were discussed during the meeting. On this occasion, FOCINC South inaugurated a newly constructed Girl Cadets Hostel named ‘Rani Velu Nachiyar’. He formally addressed the cadets in a captivating session highlighting the significance of military education in shaping the future leaders and motivating them to join the Armed Forces.
