Vice Admiral Sanjay Vatsayan, Vice Chief of Naval Staff, visited the Eastern Naval Command, Visakhapatnam from 16 to 19 December 2025. He interacted with Vice Admiral Sanjay Bhalla, FOCINC, ENC, and was briefed on the Command’s operational readiness and strategic infrastructure development initiatives. During his visit onboard ships INS Udaygiri and INS Sahyadri of the Sunrise Fleet, the VCNS commended the high state of operational readiness and professionalism of the crews. He reaffirmed Indian Navy’s focus on combat preparedness, indigenisation and the adoption of niche technologies to address evolving security challenges in the India Ocean Region.
