64th NDC course, comprising 117 officers from Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy, Indian government services, and 37 officers from friendly foreign countries are on a visit to WNC from 21-25 October 2024 to acquaint with Indian Navy at HQWNC, they were briefed on maritime operational perspectives and concept of operations in the region. They also visited ships, submarines, and Naval Dockyard Mumbai besides Mazagon Dock Ltd and ONGC offshore platforms. The officers will later witness operations at sea on board Western Fleet ships, followed by visits to premier Naval base at Karwar and frontline naval air station INS Hansa at Goa.
