INHS Kalyani conducted a Multi Speciality Women’s Wellness Camp - ‘Kalyan Shivir' with the theme- “Accelerate Action - Towards Women’s Health”. Informative lectures and skits emphasising lifestyle diseases, cancer screening, menstrual hygiene, diet and mental wellbeing among women were conducted during the camp, benefitting over 250 women. The camp included basic blood tests, evaluations, screening and counselling by doctors from Medicine, Surgery, Eye, ENT, Radiology and Gynaecology specialisations. The ladies also underwent Dental Check Up, PAP Smear Testing and Bone Mineral Density Tests along with dietary advice by a nutritionist as part of the camp. The Camp, inaugurated by Mrs Sandhya Rao Pendharkar, President NWWA (Eastern Region), marks a significant step towards holistic health and wellness of women.
